Special Ballot voting is now available in the Cartwright-L'Anse au Clair district. Special ballot voting is designed for electors who will be unable to vote in person at either the advance poll or on regular polling day.
Electors can download a Special Ballot application here. Applications may also be obtained at Elections Newfoundland and Labrador, the district Returning Office in Port Hope Simpson or the Designated Special Ballot offices in Cartwright and L'Anse au Loup.
Office Hours
Elections Newfoundland and Labrador is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (extended hours on Wednesday to 7 p.m.), Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The Returning Office is open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The Designated Offices are open Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Note: office hours are 30 minutes earlier in parts of the Cartwright-L'Anse au Clair district.
